Last week was rough. The menu plan went out the window before the week even got started, emotional eating was in control and I think I got one whole workout in.
This week, I’m pulling it back together with a little personal combo of some Whole30 style rules and the Practical Paleo digestive protocol. If you haven’t picked up Practical Paleo yet, please do. It’s absolutely the best, most comprehensive paleo info and cookbook out there. I’m planning to do that through Christmas, with a break for Thanksgiving (which will still be paleo, of course!). And that is seriously all the thought I’ve put into Thanksgiving so far. Eek.
Note: since all of the recipes are from Practical Paleo (PP), I don’t have any recipes to share. I’ll try to find any that are online to link this afternoon, but I’m in a time crunch this morning.

How’s your Thanksgiving planning going? Your menu this week looks good to me. Do you have a good recipe for tri-tip? I haven’t had that for a while, but would love to try it again.
We like tri tip with garlic, salt and pepper and cooked low and slow over the grill. You can get crazy (a friend once marinated it in egg nog – surprisingly good!), but I like simple.
Looks good, as always! What are Rosemary Roots???
It’s a recipe in Practical Paleo for any combination of root veggies roasted with rosemary. It fell off the menu this week, so I’m hoping to try it tonight!
